How is Powdered Milk Used?
To make one litre of fresh milk, all you have to do is add 100 grams of the powdered milk to one litre of water and shake well. Set the milk in the fridge overnight, and in the morning you will have fresh, delicious milk for use in your coffee, cereal or by itself.
Powdered milk can also be used in many recipes, and can be substituted for condensed milk (by adding butter and sugar) or a great cup of hot cocoa (add some cinnamon, nutmeg or cayenne for that extra kick). Many bread machine recipes call for powdered milk, and result in a lovely loaf of tasty bread.
Powdered milk is versatile. It can be used in cream sauces, desserts, casseroles – if something calls for regular milk, the recipe can be adapted to use Medallion Milk’s powdered milk instead.
