Medallion Brand dry skim milk powder is fresh, whole milk from which the cream and water have been removed. It has all the nourishment of fresh skim milk – high quality protein, calcium, other minerals and B vitamins plus added vitamins A and D. It is inexpensive, easy to carry and easy to store. Store the package tightly closed on your cupboard shelf. You can keep it several months in a dry cool place. After you add water to make skim milk, keep it in your refrigerator. Follow instructions on the bag on how to mix.

After skim milk powder has been mixed with water, you may use it just as you would fresh milk, for drinking and for cooking. These recipes have been complied and tested using Medallion skim milk powder in its dry form. They have been especially designed for use only with Medallion Brand skim milk powder. If any other instant powdered milk is used, you must double the amount called for in the recipe. Medallion skim milk powder is not instantized and is therefore more concentrated than other milk powders.
